How to Get Promoted
- Clan participation is paramount. This will increase your clout with the council of elders.
- Donations. The more you donate, the more we can provide for each other.
- Friendliness.
- Prowess as a skilled warrior.
- Trustworthiness.
How to Donate
Mail all donations to Trumbyl by means of realm mail. Donations sent in this manner will be duly recorded and in turn will increase your standing with the clan. Donations can come in the form of money as well as items such as raw copper, silver, tin, bronze, herbs, etc., other items such as swords, axes, armor, and staffs will be accepted as well.
Goods will then be distributed to various profession specialists within the guild. These specialists will be able to make clan members items-to-order for considerably lower prices.
Clan members who also wish to collect raw materials themselves, and then ask the profession specialists to make specific items for them, are free to do so. Just remember though, the greater the accumulation of wealth that Clan Dragonhammer has the greater our ability to consistantly provide outstanding goods to our community.
Members who are profession specialists will also have bank characters appropriate for their trade (i.e. a blacksmith will have a bank character who holds metals and ores).
Right now we have two bankers but will add more if needed:
- Dungslinger (Mining and blacksmith Bank as well as guild treasury)
- Shiftypickle (Herbalism and apothecary Bank)
- Durinturnkey (Leather goods and green items Bank)
- Felldragon (Mail armor and green items Bank)
- Rumblestout (Tailoring and enchanting goods)
- Bank characters will be listed as the rank "BANKER"
Here are the current profession masters:
- Trumbyl (Blacksmithing)
- Torstormkeep (Blacksmithing)
- Grimmfrizzle (Alchemy)
- Balinmagna (Leatherworking)
- Rionia (Enchanting and Tailoring)
- Drasei (Jewelcrafting)
More bank characters will be created upon determination of need. Please do not forward donations directly to bank characters as they may not be recorded. Also if a dispute concerning a donation arises we will do our best to return items that were donated to the guild however there are no guarantees if the item(s) were not recorded.
Buying from other Guild Members
Prices for items sold within the guild should stay fairly uniform to prevent any conflict. It is suggested that guild members who sell to other clansman follow this formulae. The price of the item should be no more than 2.5 times the NPC-vendor-buying-price rounded up. For instance, if you were to sell Chain Copper Pants to an NPC vendoryou would receive 67 copper. This is a fairly cheap price for that item (considering what you would normally pay for it). Now, if you are selling that same item to another guild member, a reasonable guideline is to take the vendor price (67 copper) multiply that by 2.5 and round up. This will be your selling price.
NPC BUYBACK PRICE X 2.5 = (MEMBER BUYING PRICE ROUNDED UP)
You can sell items to other members for whatever price you like; This is just a suggested guideline however remember that one of the main purposes of the guild is to "share the wealth." Below are some good website references to keep you informed on NPC vendor buyback prices.
- Blacksmithing Goods
- Apothecary's Corner
- Enchanter's Bazaar
- Jewelcrafting
- Leatherworking
- Mining
- Tailoring
